TOEFL language course
TOEFL language course — preparation for studies in the US and at English-language universities
Dreaming of studying in the United States, Canada, or on an English-taught program in Europe? TOEFL iBT is one of the most commonly required language certificates by foreign universities — and at the same time an exam where excellent school grades are not enough. It tests not only grammar knowledge but above all the ability to function in an academic environment in English: understanding lectures, writing emails to professors, participating in class discussions, and responding quickly in speaking tasks.
Our TOEFL course is comprehensive, individual preparation for the TOEFL iBT exam in the new format that has been in effect since 21 January 2026. We work with students on every section — Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing — as well as on the exam strategy that makes it possible to achieve the score required by the desired university. The first consultation is completely free and is designed to assess the student’s level and plan a realistic path to their goal.

Who is this course for?
We design the TOEFL exam preparation course with students in mind who want to use English as a genuine educational tool — not just pass another test. Those who most commonly come to us are people who:
- are planning to study in the US, Canada, the Netherlands, Ireland, or Italy in English,
- are applying to universities that require a TOEFL iBT certificate (approximately 80–100 points on the old scale / 4.0–5.0 on the new 1–6 scale),
- are following an IB or A-Level program and need an additional confirmation of their language proficiency,
- want to sit the exam in the new adaptive format and need materials that match the current question types,
- do well at school but lose confidence when they have to argue a point, analyze an academic text, or express themselves under time pressure.
Parents most commonly contact us when they want to be sure that language level will not be a barrier in the application or later in the first year of studies. Most English-language universities require C1-level language, and TOEFL iBT is the specific, internationally recognized proof of that.
Why is TOEFL so important?
TOEFL iBT is not “just another language exam to collect.” For many candidates it is a prerequisite for beginning the admissions process — without a TOEFL score at the required level, an application to most American universities will not be considered at all. Admissions committees treat the TOEFL result as hard evidence that the candidate will be able to handle English-language lectures, coursework, and seminar discussions from their very first semester.
Since January 2026, TOEFL iBT has undergone its biggest reform in years. The exam now lasts approximately 90 minutes instead of three hours, and the Reading and Listening sections are adaptive — the difficulty of subsequent questions adjusts to performance in the previous ones. Entirely new question types have also appeared, such as Complete the Words, Read in Daily Life, Build a Sentence, and Write an Email. Alongside the classic 0–120 scale, a new 1–6 scoring system aligned with CEFR has also been introduced. All of this means one thing: materials from before 2026 are no longer sufficient. Students need to prepare for the current test.
It is worth remembering that a good TOEFL result works in the long term. A higher score means a stronger application, a stronger application means a better university, and a better university means a stronger network and greater professional opportunities after graduation. Solid preparation for the TOEFL test online also pays off later — in writing coursework, giving presentations, and job interviews for internships.
How we work — a methodology that delivers results
Every TOEFL English course begins with a free diagnostic consultation, during which we assess the student’s current level across all four exam sections and compare it with the score required by the specific university they are targeting. On that basis we draw up an individual work plan — with clear stages, mock test dates, and score targets.
We run sessions individually, online, in a format adapted to the school schedule. After every session the student receives brief feedback describing what worked and what is worth working on before the next meeting. Parents are kept informed of progress and know at what stage of preparation their child is — without needing to ask.
Why do students and parents choose us?
- Tutors who know TOEFL iBT from the inside — we work with graduates of Cambridge, Oxford, and other leading English-language universities who have themselves sat this exam at the score required by top universities.
- Materials updated for the new 2026 format — full mock tests in adaptive mode, exercises covering all new question types, and exam simulations under conditions close to the real thing.
- Practice under time pressure — we teach time management strategies for every section, as this is usually what determines the final result.
- Writing and Speaking with real feedback — every essay, email, and recorded response is analyzed point by point against ETS scoring criteria.
- Ongoing contact between sessions — the student can send a written piece for checking or ask a question whenever something surprises them during independent study.
- A plan tailored to the requirements of a specific university — we work towards a target score, not towards an “average” result.
Scope of support within the TOEFL course
The course covers full preparation for all four sections of the TOEFL iBT exam in the new format:
- Reading — work with academic and everyday texts (emails, posters, discussion forums), question types including Complete the Words, Read in Daily Life, and Read an Academic Text, strategies for the adaptive test.
- Listening — lectures, student conversations, short responses and live answers, practice in selective listening and note-taking.
- Speaking — recorded simulations of Listen and Repeat and Take an Interview tasks, work on fluency, pronunciation, and structuring responses without preparation time.
- Writing — Write an Email, Build a Sentence, and Writing for an Academic Discussion with individual correction of every piece of work.
- Exam strategy — time management, tactics for adaptive sections, and managing exam stress.
- Full mock tests under conditions close to the exam, with results analysis and an improvement plan.
The TOEFL course as part of a broader application strategy
The TOEFL score alone opens doors, but it is rarely sufficient on its own to gain a place at a desired university. Applying to study abroad is a process in which academic preparation also counts — the Polish matura, IB, or A-Levels — as do results in entrance exams such as the SAT, UCAT, or IMAT, a well-written personal statement, and interview preparation.
That is why for students targeting prestigious universities, the natural complement to the TOEFL course is comprehensive application guidance — from candidate profile analysis, through university and program selection, to mock interviews. If you are planning to study in the US, take a look at our offer for applications to top 50 universities and applications with scholarships. If you are considering alternatives in Europe, we recommend exploring our offers for studying in the Netherlands, Ireland, or Italy.
It is also worth looking at alternative language courses — IELTS Academic and C1 Advanced — because some universities accept different certificates and sometimes one of them will be easier for a given student to sit at a higher score.
