GMAT exam preparation course
GMAT prep course – preparation for MBA and business programs
Dreaming of an MBA at a prestigious university, or a master’s program in finance, law, or management, where your GMAT score is one of the most important elements of your application? The GMAT is a test that doesn’t just assess knowledge – it tests the way you think, your ability to analyze data, and your logical reasoning under time pressure. A high score is not a matter of chance or general school preparation – it is the result of knowing the test format, having a deliberate strategy, and working consistently on specific question types.
Our GMAT prep course was created for people who want to prepare effectively and without confusion for one of the most important admissions exams in the business world. We combine work on the quantitative, verbal, and analytical sections with exam strategy training, so that candidates know how to allocate their time, when to skip a question, and how to recognize common test traps.
At MonPat Education we focus on real skills that translate into results. The first consultation is free – during it we assess the candidate’s level, discuss their application goals, and prepare an individual work plan.

Who is the GMAT prep course for?
The course is aimed primarily at people preparing for postgraduate studies in business, management, and economics, particularly MBA programs at foreign universities and leading business schools. It is also a strong fit for candidates applying to master’s programs in finance, business law, data analytics, or consulting, where the GMAT is required or strongly preferred.
Our support is used by both undergraduate graduates and working professionals planning a career change. We assume an advanced level of English (C1–C2), as the entire exam and all preparation materials are conducted in English. The course is also a good choice for candidates who:
- want to quickly and methodically consolidate their mathematics knowledge for the Quantitative Reasoning section,
- need to work through the specifics of Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights questions,
- have already taken the test and want to improve their score in key areas,
- are balancing preparation with work and need a flexible, well-planned schedule,
- are applying to universities where the GMAT score is one of the main selection criteria.
Why is the GMAT so important in an MBA application?
The GMAT is not just another language test or a standard academic exam. It is a tool that business schools use to filter candidates – checking whether they can work with numbers, data, argumentation, and text at the level required in a corporate and academic environment. The GMAT score very often determines whether an application advances to the second stage of the admissions process at all, and in the case of the most selective programs – also whether a scholarship is awarded.
The exam covers three areas: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning (text analysis, grammar, and style), and Data Insights (data interpretation and inference). Each of these sections has its own logic, its own question types, and its own traps. That is why general “brushing up” on maths or polishing your English is rarely enough – the test requires targeted work.
It is also worth looking at the GMAT from a broader perspective. Better preparation is not just a higher score. It is a real gateway to MBA programs at prestigious universities, a stronger negotiating position when seeking a scholarship, access to a more powerful professional network, and greater international career opportunities. A candidate who approaches the test with a plan saves months of chaotic work and avoids the situation of sitting the exam multiple times without any meaningful improvement.
How we work – GMAT course methodology
Every course begins with a diagnostic assessment. We check the candidate’s current level across the three sections of the test, identify gaps, and establish a realistic target score in relation to the universities they are applying to. On this basis, an individual work plan is created with clearly defined stages and milestones.
GMAT preparation sessions are delivered in an individual, online format, with a flexible schedule adapted to the candidate’s professional working pattern. In practice, this means the candidate knows exactly what they are working on in a given week, what tasks they need to complete independently, and what will be covered in the next session. After each session we provide brief feedback – highlighting strengths, systemic errors, and specific areas to improve before the next meetings.
Why do candidates choose our GMAT course? They most commonly point to several factors:
- Mentors with firsthand exam experience – our tutors are graduates of Cambridge, Oxford, and other leading universities worldwide, who have themselves gone through admissions processes for MBA and master’s programs.
- Work on real exam-format questions, with a focus on interpreting instructions and strategies for choosing the right solution path.
- Training under time pressure – simulations of full test sessions and analysis of how performance changes under conditions close to the real exam.
- Ongoing mentor contact between sessions – the ability to ask a question whenever the candidate gets stuck on a particular question type.
- Regular progress reports – the candidate knows exactly where they are in their preparation at any given moment and how much work genuinely remains to reach their goal.
This approach means that online GMAT preparation in our format is not a series of loosely connected meetings, but a coherent preparation process tailored to a specific application.
Scope of support within the course
Within the GMAT prep course we offer:
- an assessment of the starting level and establishment of a target score for specific universities,

The course is delivered in an individual, online format, allowing the intensity to be matched to how much time remains before the planned exam date and the candidate’s weekly availability.
GMAT is part of a bigger picture – comprehensive application support
