The challenge is that homeschooling in Poland means not only learning outside the classroom, but also the need to complete formal requirements, prepare a teaching plan in line with the national curriculum, and prepare the child for annual classification exams. We support families who make this choice consciously – whether for reasons related to the child’s health, difficulties in the school environment, intensive sporting or artistic development, frequent travel, or the conviction that an individual learning path will give the child more than a school classroom. The offer is aimed at:

parents of primary school students who want to begin home education and need support in organising the process,

families of secondary school students who are fulfilling their compulsory schooling at home while also aiming for high exam results or an application to universities abroad,

students returning from abroad or changing their educational system, who need a stable, individual study plan,

gifted students for whom the standard school curriculum is not enough and who want to cover material more quickly or work at olympiad level.

Why is home education such an important educational decision?

The decision to switch to home education is much more than a change in the place where the child does their homework. It is a change in the entire model of responsibility for their education. The Polish school system often relies on a schematic curriculum and rote learning, whereas home education creates space to teach the child deep understanding, independent thinking, and project-based work. These are exactly the competences that top universities in Poland and abroad require.

Importantly, the regulations governing home education in Poland are clearly defined – including by the Education Law Act and the Education System Act. The child continues to fulfil their compulsory schooling obligation, remains formally enrolled in a specific school, and sits classification exams every year. This means that well-managed home education closes no doors – quite the contrary. The child can build very strong foundations at a calm pace, simultaneously develop their interests, take part in olympiads, learn languages, and in secondary school prepare for the IB diploma, A-Levels, or the Polish extended school-leaving exam.

In the long term, this translates very concretely: better subject preparation leads to better exam results, a better university, a stronger network, and greater career opportunities. A child who has been learning consciously, independently, and at their own pace for several years enters university with competences that their peers are often only beginning to develop.

What does our methodology look like?

We know that the greatest concern of parents considering homeschooling in Poland is the question: “Will we manage?” Our role is to take that burden off your shoulders and guide the process so that the child genuinely progresses and you have peace of mind that everything is going according to plan.

Every collaboration begins with a diagnostic assessment – we check what level the child is at in individual subjects, what their strengths are, what they tend to avoid, and how they learn best. On this basis we draw up an individual learning roadmap tailored to the national curriculum and to the classification exam at the receiving school. We work online and in a hybrid format, which fits perfectly with the flexibility for which many families choose home education.

After every session we provide brief feedback – what the child has mastered, what we are continuing to work on, and which tasks are worth completing independently. The parent receives a concise progress report that shows a concrete change and indicates exactly what stage of the programme the child has reached. Between sessions we are available by email and message – if a difficult topic comes up or there is a question about a classification exam, you are not left to deal with it alone.

Why do parents and students choose us?

An individual study plan structured around the national curriculum, the classification exam, and the child’s ambitions.

Measurable progress through regular diagnostic tests, reports, and concrete improvement indicators.

Tutors and mentors with experience at Cambridge, Oxford, LSE, Imperial College London, and top Polish universities – they teach thinking, not just problem-solving.

Step-by-step preparation for classification exams – in both science and humanities subjects.

Support with formal aspects – we help you understand home education regulations, documentation, and the requirements of the home school.

Ongoing contact – we respond quickly and are available between sessions.

The possibility of smoothly extending the collaboration to include preparation for school-leaving exams, olympiads, language examinations, or applications to universities abroad.

Scope of support within home education

We tailor our offer to the child’s age, stage of education, and the goals the family has set. Support most commonly includes:

assessment of the child’s knowledge level and strengths,

preparation of a teaching plan in line with the national curriculum,

tutoring in mathematics, Polish, English, and other core subjects,

tutoring in science subjects: physics, chemistry, biology,

tutoring in humanities subjects: history, geography, civic education,

regular progress tests and classification exam simulations,

final revision sessions ahead of classification exams,

a breakdown of challenging topics and individual work on them,

support in developing independence and organising study time,

progress reports for parents.

Home education as a foundation for studies in Poland and abroad

Home education is not an end in itself – it is an excellent foundation for the next major educational decisions. A student who has worked in an individual learning mode for several years is usually more self-reliant, better at understanding complex texts, and more capable of project-based work. These are invaluable competences for a student who plans in secondary school to apply to universities in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, or the United States.

Many of our students use home education as an intermediate stage: they first build a solid knowledge base and develop their interests calmly, then move into preparation for the IB secondary school programme, and subsequently make a conscious choice of application pathway. If the goal is the world’s most selective universities, our flagship Oxbridge Programme and support with Ivy League Plus applications or Top 50 US university applications are the natural next step. At MonPat Education we treat education as a process – not a single exam – and that is precisely why families stay with us for years.

If you are wondering whether home education in Poland is the right choice for your child, book a free first consultation. We will help you understand the regulations, plan the first year of learning, and show how this decision can open up more opportunities for your child – both in Poland and abroad.

Arrange a meeting with an advisor: +48 517 150 003

[34
post-973","oferta","type-oferta","status-publish","hentry","kategorie-subject-tutoring

Home schooling in Poland - MONPAT EDUCATION

<meta property="og:description" content="Home education in Poland – a flexible learning path for your child Home education in Poland is an increasingly common choice for families who want their child to learn at their own pace, in a safe environment, and according to a programme tailored to their needs.
