Application support is aimed at students in years 1\u20133 of secondary school<\/strong> who are planning to study in Ireland or simultaneously in other English-speaking countries, at students following the IB programme as well as the Polish matura, and at students returning from education abroad who want to make an informed choice of university. We assist both candidates applying for science-based subjects \u2014 medicine, pharmacy, engineering, computer science, biotechnology \u2014 and those targeting business, economics, law, or social sciences.<\/p>\nGood grades are not enough. Admissions to universities in Ireland<\/strong> is based on more than exam results. What matters is the way of thinking, depth of understanding of the material, the quality of application documents, and the ability to conduct an academic conversation in English. Many students with excellent grades are eliminated at the selection stage because they were never taught to think in an academic style, and they treated the personal statement like a school essay. Our role is to bring the candidate to the point where their documents, knowledge, and confidence all go hand in hand.<\/p>\nWhy is it worth using professional application support?<\/h2>\n
The Irish admissions system has several elements that are easy to overlook without detailed knowledge. Undergraduate applications are submitted through the Central Applications Office (CAO)<\/strong>, and candidates from outside the EU must additionally document the equivalent of national entry requirements \u2014 this means a specific number of points converted from the leaving exam and an appropriate level of English. Each university has its own thresholds, and some courses \u2014 primarily medicine<\/strong> \u2014 require an additional HPAT exam.<\/p>\nIt is also not enough to simply “submit the paperwork on time.” The order of actions matters: first you choose the programme, then you check the language requirements and whether the course is recognised in the system<\/strong>, and only then do you prepare the documents. A mistake at the initial stage can exclude a candidate from the admissions process or delay the start of studies by a full year. If a student is going to Ireland on a programme lasting longer than 90 days, it must appear on the list of qualifying programmes under ILEP<\/strong> \u2014 this is an important detail, as not all language and academic courses hold that qualification.<\/p>\nIn the long term, one more thing matters \u2014 choosing the honours bachelor degree<\/strong> pathway (NFQ level 8) rather than an ordinary bachelor degree (level 7) has a real impact on access to postgraduate programmes, internship schemes, and the global job market. Better application preparation leads to a better university, and a better university in Ireland \u2014 Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, University of Galway, University College Cork \u2014 means a stronger professional network, easier internships at Google, Meta, Pfizer, or LinkedIn, and a significantly broader range of career opportunities after graduation.<\/p>\nHow we work \u2014 a methodology based on the real admissions process<\/h2>\n
Collaboration begins with a free consultation, during which we discuss the student’s goals, strengths, and a realistic choice of university. We then create an individual action plan (roadmap)<\/strong> that maps out every step: when to submit documents, when to sit a language exam, when to submit the first draft of the personal statement, and when to begin interview preparation. No chaos, no “maybe we should add something else.”<\/p>\nSessions are conducted in an academic style \u2014 from the very start we teach problem-based thinking, analysis of unfamiliar topics, and the construction of arguments in the way that Irish universities expect. After each session the student receives brief feedback, so they know what is working and what could use more attention. Parents can check at any time what stage their child has reached and do not have to guess whether things are “going well.”<\/p>\n
