Why Polish matters — and why it pays to start early

In the Polish education system, students often learn by rote. The problem arises when an exam paper requires analysis, connecting themes, and working under time pressure. Polish is even more demanding than scientific subjects — there is no single formula, no single correct answer. What counts is the ability to think, argue, and write, and that cannot be learned in a week before the exam.

Polish is one of three compulsory matura subjects, and the result has a real impact on university admissions. For most universities in Poland — especially law, journalism, philology, and humanities and social science programs — the extended Polish result is crucial. A score above 90% opens doors to the best programs at UW, UJ, and SGH. Moreover, a well-written Polish matura is also a strong foundation for choosing a degree program in Poland and for building a candidate profile for studies abroad, where the ability to write academic essays proves invaluable.

In the long run, it works simply: better Polish preparation → higher matura score → better university → stronger professional start. The ability to write, analyze, and argue that a student takes away from well-run tutoring pays dividends throughout their entire studies and career — regardless of whether they choose medicine, law, business, or the humanities.

How we work — a methodology that delivers results

Our sessions are grounded in specifics, not in “doing textbook exercises.” Every student begins with a short diagnostic — we check where the real gaps are and where knowledge simply needs to be organized. On that basis we create a work plan that clearly shows what we will be doing in the coming weeks and what results can be expected.

During the course we work on CKE exam papers, analyze recurring question patterns, practice writing under time pressure, and work on scoring strategy. Students learn to recognize question types, plan their essays, and argue in a way that examiners reward with points. The goal is not to memorize — it is to understand how the exam works.

Why do parents and students choose us? After every session we provide brief feedback with specific guidance on what to improve before the next meeting. Parents are kept up to date on where their child stands, what progress has been made, and what we are still working on. Between sessions we are available — the student can send a question, a draft essay for checking, or request additional materials. Measurable progress, a clear plan, and genuine contact are the three things parents mention most often, and exactly those three things are what we guarantee.

The MonPat Education team consists of graduates of leading universities — Cambridge, Oxford, and the best Polish universities. Our students share a common thread: a 100% success rate in gaining places at their desired universities, high matura results, and achievements in subject olympiads.
